Stacey Ubaru

Originally from Laredo, TX, Stacey co-founded The Daily GRND after more than a decade coaching in the DFW area. Struggling with her weight as an athlete sparked a lifelong passion for health and wellness, and it led her to a degree in Exercise & Sports Science.

With 10+ years of coaching experience and a strong background in athletic development, Stacey has worked with everyone from busy professionals to pro athletes since starting her training business in 2020. She specializes in functional strength training designed to keep you strong, pain-free and moving with confidence, and is certified in Pre/Post Natal and Precision Nutrition L1.

"Staying in shape is all about building a supportive, results-driven community where health and wellness come first."

Lindzay “Zay” Duplessis
Co-founder · Mobility & Pilates

Lindzay “Zay” Duplessis

Zay co-founded The Daily GRND to help people move with less pain and more control. After earning a degree in Dance Performance from Sam Houston State University, she pursued massage therapy certification at Parker University and later became a Functional Range Conditioning Mobility Specialist.

Today, as a Licensed Massage Therapist, FRC Mobility Specialist and Mat Pilates Instructor, Zay blends the precision of Pilates, the science of mobility training and the therapeutic benefits of bodywork to restore joint health, build resilience and prevent injuries.

"Guiding people toward lasting freedom, a deeper understanding of the body, and confidence in movement."

What we stand on, together
01

Prevention over repair

We keep small problems small — before they become the thing that stops you.

02

Capability and confidence

We train for how your body works and how you feel in it, inside and out.

03

Consistency over intensity

Quiet, repeatable practice beats bursts of enthusiasm every time.

04

Community, horizontally

Coach to client, yes — but equally client to client. You belong here.

What we believe

You don't have to earn rest. Strong and soft aren't opposites. Showing up for your body is showing up for your entire life.
